Who Should Not Use Sylatron?

You should not use Sylatron if you:
 
  • Are allergic to it, PegIntron®, peginterferon alfa-2b, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
 
  • Are allergic to interferon alfa-2b (Intron®).
 
  • Have a certain type of hepatitis or severe liver damage.
