Solaraze Gel Side Effects
Side Effects to Report
Solaraze Gel is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). As such, it can cause certain serious side effects that you should report to your healthcare provider. These include, but are not limited to:- Heart attack symptoms such as:
- Chest pain
- Shortness of breath or other breathing difficulties
- Pain in the shoulder, arm, or jaw
- Worsening of asthma
- High blood pressure (hypertension)
- Stroke symptoms, such as:
- Slurred speech
- Weakness on one side of the face or body
- Confusion
- Signs of bleeding of the digestive tract, such as dark, tarry stools or bloody vomit
- Signs of liver problems, such as yellowing of the whites of the eyes or skin (jaundice)
- Rapid weight gain, water retention, or unusual swelling of the arms, legs, hands, or feet
- Signs of an allergic reaction, including:
- An unexplained rash
- Hives
- Itching
- Unexplained swelling of the mouth or throat
- Wheezing or difficulty breathing or swallowing.
Final Thoughts
It is possible that you may experience some or none of the side effects listed in this article. Unfortunately, there is no way for your healthcare provider to know beforehand if you will have side effects from a medicine that you have never tried. Therefore, make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you develop any side effects while taking Solaraze Gel or if you experience something that "just does not seem right." While it may not be a side effect, your healthcare provider will be able to diagnose and treat the problem.
