Treatment for melanoma that has recurred (come back) may include:
 
  • Surgery to remove the tumor
  • Radiation therapy as palliative therapy to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life
  • Palliative treatment with biologic therapy
  • Hyperthermic isolated limb perfusion.
