DTIC-Dome Drug Interactions

Before you start chemotherapy treatment with DTIC-Dome, your healthcare provider will need to be aware of all medications, supplements, and vitamins you are taking. Some of these reactions may decrease the effectiveness of the drugs or increase your risk for side effects. Even products like echinacea or live vaccines can lead to drug interactions with DTIC-Dome.

An Overview of Interactions With DTIC-Dome

DTIC-Dome® (dacarbazine) may interact with a number of other medications. Some of the drugs that may react with DTIC-Dome include but are not limited to:
 
  • Amphotericin B (Abelcet®, AmBisome®, Amphotec®)
  • Certain biologic and immunologic medications, such as:
     
 
 
  • CYP 1A2 inhibitor medications, such as:
     
 
  • Disulfiram (Antabuse®)
