Aldera

Available by prescription only, Aldara® (imiquimod cream) is a medication approved to treat actinic keratosis (a type of precancerous skin lesion), basal cell carcinoma (a type of skin cancer), and genital or perianal warts.
 
Aldara comes as a skin cream that is applied before bedtime, left on for about eight hours, and then washed off. Some people who use this drug will experience side effects, such as redness, dryness, or swelling of the skin.
